" a holiday we will never forget, "

There is no doubt that the Iguassu Falls are one of the world's most spectacular, natural sites. Bordering Argentina and Brazil, the Iguassu falls are a collection of more than 250 separate falls (and up to 350 at high water), which cascade through lush greenery to create a wonderful, awe inspiring spectacle. We'll visit the Iguassu falls in Argentina and Brazil, taking a day to visit each side. In Argentina the views of the Iguassu Falls are beautiful, but you also get the chance to go right to the edge of the Devil's Throat for dramatic photos and videos. In Brazil, the views help you appreciate the full force of the Iguassu falls, and there's an option to take a helicopter flight, and/or a boat trip to the edge of the spray. You also get to stand half-way down the Devil's Throat, where you'll be invigorated (and soaked) by a

wonderful spray of water. There's a free day during which we can cross another border, and go into Paraguay on a shopping expedition, and to visit the Itaipu dam, source of power for the world's largest hydroelectric power plant, which is shared between Brazil and Paraguay. As is the case throughout Brazil, there are many great and inexpensive restaurants to choose from, including a fish restaurant on the banks of the Parana river, where some of the fish that are brought to our table are as big as a pig! And just in case you're having withdrawal symptoms, we can even play bowls - only this time, the ten pin variety.
